Brian and his wife Angela, transitioned their gourmet butcher shop into a 100% gluten free environment after learning how difficult it can be for people with coeliac disease to feed the family a nutritious gluten free meal that tastes good.
It took 3 years of research to find the best tasting crumbs, pastry and marinades! Plus, many hours cooking and tasting to ensure the whole family could enjoy the quality and flavours.
Brian brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the quality meats you see in store today. Being in the industry now for over 35 years Brian has an eye for quality and he and the team are passionate about providing you with inspiration for a great meal prepared with love!

Why are we gluten free
About 5 years ago we were talking to our neighbour about her daughter Tayani who was diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2012. She explained how time consuming it was to always cook separate meals and that it was hard to find tasty gluten free meals that the whole family would eat.
This motivated Brian to go on a mission to source the best local gluten free ingredients and create wonderful products that Coeliac’s have missed out on like the Garlic Chicken Kiev, Beef Wellingtons, Stirfry’s and Curries, Schnitzels in different flavours, Spit meat and souvlaki meat marinated in our famous gluten free gyros, gourmet burgers like Lamb Fetta & Spinach, Beetroot, Thai Chicken and more! Even their condiments, dips, sauces, freezer and panty items in the shop are all gluten free.
Best of all they have been accredited by Coeliac Australia, this was an important step in reaching their goal. So you can be assured they have passed a stringent document review, onsite audits, staff have been trained and products have been laboratory tested for gluten. They are the first butcher in Australia to be accredited with Coeliac Australia. You can eat with confidence knowing there is no risk of cross contamination.
